Local Time: 17:24 "Chennai Express" departs sharp @ 17:00 from Rameswaram and makes a 2 minute stop in small town of Pamban. It leaves Pamban station @ slow speed and continues at 8km/hr to cross the famous Pamban Bridge and will make another 2 minute stop at Mandapam on the other end. It's 25th and final stop will be the Chennai Egmore Station at 06:30 the next morning having completed 655km journey in 13 hours & 30 minutes.
