Class 6E1, E1506, still looking fantastic in her refreshed original South African Railway livery nearly 40 years after entering service, together with three mates (a bit of motive power overkill), working a short Tanker Train through Umlaas Road - probably bound for Masons Mill in Pietermaritzburg. The centre cab door is open for crew comfort due to it being a particularly hot spring afternoon.
The red & whisker livery of the South African Railways / Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee collection. Getting harder to find examples of this fantastic and much loved livery still in service!
