Montana Rail Link’s Gas Local storms eastbound through Weeksville, Montana, on February 9, 2014, with three vintage EMDs powering the 30-car train. Lead locomotive is MRL 290, a former Great Northern (321) SDP40, while trailing are two SD40s; former Chicago & North Western (891) No. 263, and No. 258 from the Colorado & Southern (877). All were rebuilt by the capable Livingston Shops and are now labeled SD40-2XR by MRL.
