| With a business downturn in the early 1980s, older locomotives were stored and often retired. Alco DL640 (RS27) No. 415, one of Soo Line's two "Dolly sisters" was parked with F7A 2225A in the late winter snow at Shoreham. The 415 and sister 416 were the first new locomotives to display the red/light gray scheme in about 1962. |
