Remarks & Notes
Southbound BNSF train HAMADEN is on the ground stopped at Sedalia CO. Preliminary inspection appears to be a locked axle on the trailing 9746 shown with more than a foot long flat spots which apparently derailed ealier then rerailed at the south switch of Sedalia siding. One set of wheels on the lead auto rack are on the ground as well as seventeen other cars (according to local news reports) blocking the busy main track two of the joint UP-BNSF Joint Line

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
