| Common power at Northtown in the 1990s included SD9s and end cab switchers. Here a former GN SD9 works the south end of the yard while a pair of switchers rest near the Soo Line bridge. A few weeks prior to this shot the holding company BNSF was created to eventually merger BN and Santa Fe at the end of 1996. |
