A nice treat for western railfans! Norfolk Southern ES44AC 8102, the railroad's Pennsylvania Heritage unit, was on the point of BNSF train Q-NYCLAC1-01A. This is the fourth NS Heritage unit to visit southern California, but the first to arrive on the head-end of a train. Along with NS 8102 is NS 9898 and BNSF 670. (BNSF 670 was added to the train in Black, Texas, the previous day.)
