| January 26th, 2:09 PM. Union Pacific steam locomotive 4014 is carefully backed into a storage track at West Colton California. All eyes of the crewmen are on the ridged truck frame of the massive tender as it negotiates a tight curve in the siding. The 4014 will undergo additional preparation for the trip later this year to the UP Steam shops in Cheyenne Wyoming. |
