| G&W is using Great Lakes Central's locomotive repair facility to replace wheel sets on all of Huron and Eastern's locomotives. Here we see HESR 2028 former Central Michigan 2014 underneath the crane. It's a shame to see her CM heritage lazily patched over like this, she used to be a pretty good looking locomotive that I would always look forward to seeing on a Bay City morning. I never thought I'd see her here like this, but I guess that's just part of railroading. |
