| NS SD70ACe No. 1082 reverses into the Arcelor Mittal operated Roadfork loadout at Milepost 3.2 on NS' Sand Fork Branch in Monson, W.Va. The 110 car capacity loadout represents one of the far most south loadouts along NS' Tug Fork branch line (and its respective mine branches). One loaded, this train will return to Wilcoe Yard (south of Welch) and eventually to the NS Pocahontas mainline at the control point of Hemphill. Monson is located only miles from the WV/VA state line and is part of the huge Pocahontas coal market. |
