Before getting to the steep grade between Montandon and Potrerillos, the Potrerillos railway is running through the valley of the Río Salado (Qebrada del Río Salado) - an impressive Cut in the mountains. full loaded trains with 1960ies diesel locos generate a quite spectacular scenery.
Here units #401 and 91 (this one is Codelco owned, but Ferronor leased) are hauling a long sulfuric acid tank car train up through the valley.
