If you aren't going to get snow on Steven's pass in the winter, then the next best thing is a clear, not too cold, starry night. This east bound freight has just crossed the Foss river bridge, as it makes it's way up the hill to Scenic and a wait for it's turn to creep through the Cascade tunnel. The crew will be able to enjoy a little snow at Scenic, just about the only place with any to speak of, on this Tracks in the Snow weekend.
