Remarks & Notes 
A Burlington Northern coal train grinds up Crawford Hill west of Belmont, Nebraska, on July 2, 1989. The train is powered by two BN GE C30-7s and three EMD SD40-2s (BN 7239, along with Kansas City Southern Nos. 691 and 666) and is pushed on the rear by three more BN SD40-2s splicing a fuel tender, which are just disappearing behind the hillside on the track below.
