| The Mondays to Fridays Malmesbury - De Hoek freight is climbing the long grade from Rust, as it makes its way through the wheatfields of the Swartland, heading north towards Morreesburg. It was a real surprise to find a single class 34 GE U26C working the train, most likely displaced from the Sishen - Saldanha ore line by the arrival of new class 43 diesels. |
