Remarks & Notes
Just after dusk early into the new year, Mineola's Amtrak station stands brightly lit by Christmas decorations still hanging around the century-plus year old depot. Built in 1906 for the Texas & Pacific Railroad, the station would go on to serve the Missouri Pacific's Texas Eagle and today is a stop for Amtrak trains 21 & 22 between Chicago & San Antonio.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
