Agent Orange anyone, I'm sure it wasn't that bad by this date. This Milwaukee defoliant special was stopped on the westbound main near New Lisbon being powered by 647. As I got into position for the picture he promptly notched out and the "fellows" on the spray gun turned it loose in my direction while having a good laugh at my high speed dash away from the track. They didn't really come even close to me but I'm sure my mad scramble was the topic over beers that night when they had gone off duty. At the time I was not real impressed although I was apparently the only one who failed to see the humor in it as my Dad could hardly keep a straight face for the next 3 hours. Looking back on it if I'd have been on the spray gun and seen some gangly kid shooting photos I'd probably have done the same thing.
