On a foggy December evening, a green light beams from the southbound Southern Railway signal at Oakwood. As seen, its replacement is already up, obstructing the view, though still allowing us to witness the life of the old warrior. In a few minutes, hotshot intermodal 213 will knock down the clear aspect to a restricting aspect on its way to Atlanta.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
