| During constant traffic underneath, between Zürich main station and Altstetten the new Letzigraben bridge is built with a 91 meter long and 650 ton heavy falsework. When finished in october 2014 the bridge will be the longest in the SBB network with 1156 meter. The 23 pillars are up to 16 meter high. With up to 120 km/h the trains will run over it from 2016. A doubledeck commuter train RABe 511 of the S 12 is running under the new bridge. |
