View onto the traffic hub Brig in the upper Valais, gateway to the Simplon railway tunnel and the Simplon pass, where the Lötschberg mountain line (middle in the foreground) meets the SBB from Geneva, Lausanne and from the Lötschberg base tunnel from Berne, coming from the right. The Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn is another strong player to Zermatt (right) and the Goms (upper Valais) to the left, not to mention the large amount of Postbus lines etc.
