Remarks & Notes
Two General Electric locomotives share tracks at the Sterling, Colorado, engine facility in April 1984. On the right is six-motor C30-7 No. 5578, while one track over is 1966-built four-motor U30B No. 5474, which is showing a small bit of Chinese red and white on an access door below the cab, worn during its days of being Chicago, Burlington and Quincy No. 144.
