Seen through at boxpox drivers of an SY 2-8-2, a worker in Jalainur's massive locomotive workshop welds a new driver axles box. Soon, the axlebox will be placed and another 2-8-2 will return to work. Jalainurs shop was exordinary, stepping inside gave more of the feel of Sacramento or Roanoke than a mere locomotive depot. On this date in 2008, there were 4 locomotives under running repairs, 2 under minor repairs, and 3 completely torn down for overhaul. This was a serious shop! Sadly, it closed with the opencast mine in mid-2009.
