Remarks & Notes 
Running south (east) on the Santa Fe, Amtrak San Joaquin No. 708 passes Stockton Tower over the Southern Pacific diamonds, led by new GE Dash-8-32BWH “Pepsi Can” No. 501 on March 7, 1993. This California landmark (by railroad standards anyway…) was torn down on May 27, 1999.
