Remarks & Notes
A pair of Southern Pacific GE AC4400CW DPUs push an CSUX coal empty past Finger Rock east of Yampa, Colorado, on the afternoon of July 30, 1996. The train will soon pause at the crew change point of Phippsburg on the Craig Branch. From this angle, this famous local landmark looks less like a “finger,” but is still impressive nonetheless.
