Remarks & Notes
A mighty push!. Western Maryland 729 rides shotgun on a long coal drag out of Cumberland, barking mightily as she crosses the old C&P Bridge #1453 just outside Frostburg.

The pavement that you see under this bridge is actually the old roadbed of the Western Maryland Railway. The dual tracks were removed back in late 1980s, and the old right-of-way is now part of the bicycle trail known as the Great Allegheny Passage.
