| The 471 train has just entered UP trackage at Mankato. The crew will operate over around 6-7 miles of UP trackage rights to the south end Mankato before getting back on the Tracy Sub. The DM&E has been extremely short of power due to shortage of all the power stored under the new management at CP. There has been big consist this week on 471 to move power west to try to catch up on the grain rush and heavy traffic. Things are so bad even a lone CP GE is going west which isn't normal practice to have big power out west. |
