| After delivering two empties to the CSX interchange at Thurmond, a pair of R.J. Corman SD40-2T's and two loads of ammonium nitrate negotiate the stiff grades up Loup Creek, passing the Loup Creek falls on their trek from the interchange back to Mt. Hope. Fall colors are at their peak in higher elevations along the Beckley plateau, but pending rains and wind will soon bring down the remaining foliage. |
