You want smoke? The crew of D&RGW Locomotive 315 does their best to re-enact the burning of Rome as they charge westbound toward a water stop at Osier, CO with a heavy freight. You can't tell from this photo, but back there in the murk, Mudhen 463 is at mid-consist, pushing for all she's worth. This was one of those operations where I wish a had a Bell 206 JetRanger handy with the rear cabin doors removed. An aerial of this would have been just cool!
