Four of the 20 Class 39-200 (EMD GT26CU-3) locomotives based at Lydenburg on the Belfast - Steelpoort branch line, team up to work a chrome ore train of type CAR and CFR wagons to Belfast. The train is rolling downgrade to Dullstroom from the summit at Nederhorst, the highest point on the railway system in South Africa - 2097 metres (6880 feet) above sea level. |
