| NS local H02 emerges out from under the catenary of the Morristown Line and enters the Boonton Line at Denville Interlocking. Thanks to the crew of this local, the Lackawanna heritage unit was able to briefly lead the train. NS 1074 is actually being transported to Boonton for the URHS-sponsored Transportation Heritage Festival on the coming weekend. In tow behind 1074 is restored Lackawanna caboose 896. Many local railfans were out to chase this very rare move of the DL&W heritage unit over former Lackawanna trackage. |
