| With extensive trackwork on the Iron Range Division during the fall of 1999 causing congestion, the DM&IR ran a special freight move from Duluth to Two Harbors. Here the train is rolling along the North Shore Scenic Railroad headed for Two Harbors on a line once owned by the Missabe. Today 403 has the honor of being the only former DM&IR SD40-3 to still wear maroon and gold. |
