Three newly refurbished RRL Grindrod Diesel Locomotives, bound for Ncala – Mozambique, have just been loaded onto Transnet's Floating Crane "Indlovu Durban". The vessel collecting them for their journey to Mozambique is not equipped with a suitable crane for loading, hence the use of the floating crane. The three locos on board are (from left to right), Ex Kiwi Rail DQ6382 - now RRL 22-02, Ex SAR Class 35 - now RRL 35-07 and Ex Kiwi Rail DQ6347 - now RRL 22-01. RRL Grindrod have completed the refurbishment of the two Kiwi Rail locos pretty quickly, as they only arrived in South Africa mid July 2013.
