Remarks & Notes

A southbound Duval sulphur train kicks up New Mexico real estate as train 785 speeds through Cameo, ten miles northeast of Portales, New Mexico, on the Carlsbad Subdivision. On the head end are 5614-4549-9841 (SD45-2/SD26/RSD-15) and 64 cars back, ahead of the caboose are 4556, 9811, and 14 (SD26/RSD-15/RCE car). The train is en route from Galveston, Texas, to Rustler Springs, Texas, for another load. This train no longer operates.
