| A northbound empty hopper train crosses the Copper Creek Viaduct with a mix of Family Lines and Clinchfield power. 4 months from now, the Clinchfield would be no more as the formation of Seaboard System and the absorption of the Clinchfield into the monster would end independence. This is the last summer of the Clinchfield. 35mm slide from my collection, photographer unknown. |
