The Golden State Ltd. is on borrowed time but looking sharp as it turns into downtown Davenport off the Golden State main, approaching Rockingham Rd. John was in Davenport for a 3-week training at the RI Arsenal and took advantage of his off time to capture images around the area. Six years later he would be transferred here from N.J. He still resides in the area (and shoots photos) 40 years later as of 2013, but the Golden State Ltd. is just a memory seen only on a thin piece of celluloid. Here's the scan. #643 was Rock's class E8A and was an EMD demo prior to purchase. Note the two SP B units.
