Remarks & Notes 
The Amtrak Veterans engine makes it's first visit to New York State as it rolls down the Mohawk Valley at Lock 10 just east of CP-173 and Amsterdam, NY. The engine is on the Lake Shore Limited and continued on to Boston on train 448, the Boston section of the Lake Shore. The Mohawk river and Erie Barge Canal are in the foreground.
