Remarks & Notes
Former Bodensee-Toggenburg steamlocomotive Eb 3/5 # 9, a powerfull 2-6-2 T built by Maffei/Munich in 1910, with a charter passenger train of DVZO on the Rhine bridge between Hemishofen and Etzwilen. This 13,3 km long SBB line from Singen/Germany to Etzwilen was never electrified and is now owned by Stiftungen Museumsbahn Stein am Rhein – Etzwilen – Hemishofen – Ramsen & Rielasingen – Singen (SEHR & RS), and operated by Verein zur Erhaltung der Eisenbahnlinie Etzwilen-Singen (VES). The 254 meter long and 25 meter high Rhine bridge was built in 1875. In the background the motor vessel "Schaffhausen" (largest of the fleet, built in 1970 by Bodan Werft Kressbronn) of the company Untersee und Rhein, which is on the way from Schaffhouse to Kreuzlingen as sailing # 543, a beautiful river and lake journey of nearly 5 hours.
