Remarks & Notes

Rio Grande's Midvale Tramp local descends the Bingham Branch in West Jordan. This route was constructed by the D&RGW to tap the riches of Kennecott Copper's Bingham Canyon Mine, visible in the background. The open farmland pictured here is now occupied by UTA's busy Jordan Valley light rail station.
