Storming up Byron Hill, south of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a Soo Line freight attacks the grade on March 22, 1987. This was in the colorful Lake States era on this portion of the original Soo Line, with this train rating two Soo GP9s and a leased Conrail GP35.
