Remarks & Notes

The evolution of the steam locomotive is prominently displayed at The Henry Ford. One hundred ten years of locomotive technology separate the DeWitt Clinton of 1831 (represented with this 1893-built replica) and C&O 2-6-6-6 1601 of 1941. Guess which locomotive gets more attention from visitors? I waited over thirty minutes to get a people-free shot 1601.
