| A veteran Amtrak AEM-7 undergoes maintenance in the electric shops of the elaborate Ivy City complex operated by Amtrak. The Ivy City locomotive shops handle repairs to much of the Northeast Corridor locomotive fleet, ranging from the AEM-7's to the Acela HHP's and even GE P42DC's in a separate facility.
