Class 24 no. 5081 was delivered new in March 1960.Built at Crewe Works,the loco had 20 years of service before being withdrawn in October 1980.Now preserved,the loco is a stalwart of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway,and is seen here stabled at Cheltenham Racecourse station prior to working a service to Toddington.
