| Highspeed tilting train ETR 610 010 of the SBB is entering the north portal of the 34,6 kilometer long Lötschberg base tunnel with up to 200 km/h, running as Eurocity 51 from Basel via Berne and Simplon to Milan. The date is exactly 100 years after the beginning of operation over the Lötschberg mountain line, which is visible above the portal. |
