Test train MLX01-01 of the super-conducting magnetic levitation train system, developed by the Central Japan Railway Company and Railway Technical Research Institute (association of Japan Railways Group). This car was built in 1995 as part of a six car train, which set the world speed record of 581 km p.h (361 miles per hour) for all train systems, on december 02, 2003 on the Yamanashi Maglev Test Line, part of the future Chūō Shinkansen.
