Montana Rail Link SD40 No 261 (MRL calls it an SD40-2XR) is on the point of the Day Gas Local returning to Missoula flying through Eddy, Montana, on May 6, 2012. It doesn’t say “Montana” anywhere on the locomotive in the new image, but it is still blue and cool. Let’s hope MRL stays around for another 25 years . . .
