Remarks & Notes
These two GE 65-tonners, built in 1950 and imported from Schenectady, NY bask in the sunshine on a beautiful winter morning outside the Harmony Gold loco workshop. Both locomotives are still in operation when needed, to haul gold-bearing ore to the Gold One processing plant. Photo taken with permission during Tanago's recent South Africa railfan tour.
