| This westbound coal load is passing under Billies Mountain. In 1982-83, record moisture soaked the mountains causing the Great Thistle Slide. The Slide buried the helper town of Thistle, the railroad and highway. The railroad "quickly" burrowed a new set of tunnels thru the mountain. |
