Remarks & Notes
Lehigh Valley 40 was built by Budd in 1951 for passenger service between Lehighton and Hazelton, PA. It later worked for Reading and SEPTA before being donated by PennDOT to the RRMofPA in 1984. It arrived in operable condition, but has not been run in many years. It's currently displayed in the RRMofPA's yard, which will soon be vacated for the construction of a new roundhouse display building.

A collection of engines, cabooses, cars, etc., great and small that are past their prime, but represent a spirit of railroading that will never pass away!!
