Amtrak 703 is seen bullet-like in the late evening along the majestic Hudson River. It was a cold, crisp, clear late winter evening and the sun had just dropped below the hills on the west side of the Hudson. It was a special night then and is a special night now. It is special because, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to present to you my first ever photo contest winner. This image of Amtrak in Cortlandt New York was a Runner Up prize winner in the 2012 Trains Magazine "The Blue Hour" photo contest. It can be found on p.43 of the July 2013 issue.
