A westbound Southern Pacific freight climbs Soldier Summit grade between Colton and Summit, Utah, on the afternoon of September 7, 1995. A colorful locomotive consist of a SP GP60 No. 9724, Rio Grande SD40T-2 No. 5398 and Conrail GE C40-8W No. 6212 leads the train.
