| In what was at the moment a normal scene would change in a few days once Irene paid a visit to Upstate, NY. This was Friday. I followed this train to Central Bridge and went back to work. The humidity was incredible. Nothing like I ever felt before. By Sunday the location where the locomotive is seen had a stream running across it and I believe the little stream behind my back was over its banks. Nothing compared to Damage that would end up occurring below here that would not only change the face and lives of people who resided then in the Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys. |
